Summer
Solstice

 Newsletter

Hello  and welcome to my website.

It's Nearly Summer Solstice...

Summer solstice, Litha, Midsummer, whatever you want to call it, is the mid point of the year and the day the sun is the in highest point in the sky, it is also the longest day, meaning that it stays light for the longest.

Litha is a powerful time to celebrate the abundance and brilliance of mid summer. It’s a moment to honour the light, with nature, and acknowledge that the days are beginning to shorten. Embrace this vibrant energy around you and fully enjoy everything that this season to offer!

Here are a few IDEAS to celebrate Litha

  • Light a Bonfire (every festival needs fire)

  • Plant summer flowers

  • Make wands

  • Forage elderflower and make cordial

  • Go for a barefoot walk to connect to the Earth

  • Meditate at sunrise

  • Charge your sun crystals in the sun... the yellow and orange ones

  • Visit Stonehenge

  • Play out... walk, hike, picnic, hug a tree

  • Reflect on how the first half of the year has gone and set intentions for the second half.

  • Do a candle magic spell
